TIMESINDONESIA, MADIUN – Taman Trembesi is a tourist attraction in Madiun that has huge, shadowy trees that have lived for years. This place is a perfect place who want to enjoy the rejuvenating air under the shadowy trees.
Taman Trembesi, which used to be a wood yard, is maintained and managed by Madiun Forestry (Perhutani KPH Madiun).
“Taman Trembesi was established in 2016, coinciding with Eid Al-Fitr,” said Puji Rahayu, the Assistant Manager of Ecotourism, Agroforestry, and Asset of KPH Madiun.
This area covers around 0.8 hectare. The height of the trees can reach up to 50 meters with 1-meter diameter. The trees have dense leaves, which make this place fresh and shadowy.
“The remaining wood yard is currently used as a photo spot,” said Puji.
As a tourist attraction, Taman Trembesi also has some facilities, such as photo spots, colourful boards and playground.
In addition to that, they also have ATV, paintball, and 70-meter flying fox. You only need IDR 6,000 to enter this place and enjoy all the facilities.
“During this pandemic, the number of visitors has decreased drastically. Besides, we also need to limit the number of visitors,” said Puji.
Taman Trembesi opens daily from 7 am to 5 pm. However, during this pandemic, it opens from 8 am to 4 pm. (*)
